Chapeau to Joshua Kite who picked up the award for second place in the U12s Mallory League 2023 after a fantastic summer of racing.

Josh, pictured far left receiving his award from Josh Giddings (Lotto Destiny), made the Mallory Race League one of his season's target, completing 10 races over the summer.

Missing two races through illness, he scored impressive results in every other race, coming away with 4 third places, 4 second places and 2 wins. Of the wins, one was the hilly crit.

Watching from the side, dad Tom said: "He learnt a lot about racing this year. He spent a lot of time off the front of the bunch solo, even if it meant getting caught. His mentality was that it is better to die trying than to sit in the bunch."
