This summer, Beeston RC's Zillah Turner started running 'get into road cycling sessions' for people who wanted to start riding, improve their group riding skills or simply wanted a rider at a steady pace. Now these rides are going from strength to strength and getting people to feel more confident on two wheels.

Back by popular demand, our annual trip to the Peak District with the Go Ride section of the club, took place in early July (5-6). Setting off from Sawley, 25 young riders, parents and coaches rode 50 miles to Youlgrea...

On 22nd June, to celebrate our 80th anniversary, more than forty riders took part in two rides - 40 or 80 miles - bringing togther riders new and old. In keeping with tradition, the day ended with a well-earned drink for all.

The Wednesday evening summer social rides will start up again on Wednesday 23rd April. The rides start at The Crown Inn, Beeston at 6:30pm and return to The Crown around 8:00pm for a social drink. 

From now on Sunday Runs will start at Beeston Square 9:00am unless otherwise stated.
