Hot on the heels of our Olympic and Paralympic successes, Beeston Road Club is running three open evenings for young riders who want to get into cycling.
Our Go Ride club runs every Monday at Harvey Hadden from 6.30 – 7.30 for young riders aged 8-18.
During September, we’re running three ‘come and try it’ nights for anyone who wants to have a go and learn some new riding skills.
They’ll be an opportunity to meet your local British Cycling team who promote cycling in the East Midlands.
– Monday 13 September, 6.30 – 7.30
– Monday 20 September 6.30 – 7.30
– Monday 27 September 6.30 – 7.30
– Venue: Harvey Hadden track, Bilborough (located behind the main leisure centre).
Head coach, Adam Smith said: “At Harvey Hadden we’ve got fantastic facilities for riders. The fully enclosed track offers a safe space for people to learn to ride, race and develop their skills.
Our club has riders coming down from aged 8 right up to 17 and we offer them lots of different cycling opportunities – the velodrome, cross racing, circuit racing and social rides.”
