Social Rides

Now that winter is upon us social rides leaving the Boat & Horses, Trent Road, Beeston Rylands at 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings will depend on interest and organised between club members themselves. If you fancy a ride out put a post on the Facebook site to see if anyone else is interested. The rides should be approx. 20 miles ‘at pace’, returning to the Boat and Horses at around 8pm.

End of Season ‘Do’

There will be an end of season prize presentation and social evening at The Boat & Horses, Trent Road, Beeston Rylands on Saturday the 24th November. There will be a buffett and a disco. Tickets are £5 and are available in Mick Harts Shop, P H Ultra Sport on Wollaton Road Beeston. Tickets will also be on sale at the Go Ride Session at Harvey Hadden on Monday 22nd October.

Tickets are also now available at The Metro, Café, Beeston.

If you have a club trophy you need to return it in a clean condition as soon as possible so it can be prepared for presentation on the night. You can drop them in at Mick Harts shop or email admin@beestonrc.co.uk to make arrangements to hand it over.

There will be a raffle on the night so if anyone is feeing generous, raffle prizes will be very much appreciated.

Sunday Run

Weather permitting there will be a steady Sunday Run on the 18th November with a café stop at Stonehurst Farm Centre, Mountsorrel. Meet at Attenborough Lights ready to leave at 9:00am.

NOTE – The usual route out of Shepshed is closed as is Bond Lane just before the café stop. Refer to the route map for the revised route. Plus it appears Gazza is not in fact spineless cos it hurts so I may not be out to lead the ride or will take a short cut, so make sure you know where to go.
